A failure in the digital systems of the state-owned Sense Bank today provoked a global IT failure of the Crowdstrike and Windows antivirus. This was confirmed by the financial institution in an official comment to the Ministry of Finance.

“Indeed, today, July 19, 2024 g., some Sense Bank systems were unavailable to clients. This is caused by a global IT failure related to the interaction of Crowdstrike antivirus and Windows.” Due to the scale of the failure, the restoration of the bank’s digital services took place in several stages,” says the Sense Bank press service’s response to us.
But they assured that at the moment all the bank’s systems, including its own processing, operate fully. They also emphasized that all personal data and funds of Sense Bank clients are safe.
