The demand for remote identification and verification of citizens through the BankID System of the NBU increased significantly in the second quarter of 2024. The NBU press service writes about this.

Total number of successful electronic identifications using the system in April – June this year amounted to 22.3 million units. This is more than a third (38%) higher than the figure for the first quarter of 2024.
Currently, this is the largest number of successful identifications in a quarter since the system began operating.
In particular, In May of this year, the Reserve+ mobile application was connected to the NBU BankID System and began operating, which allows military personnel to remotely update their credentials in accordance with legal requirements. From the moment of launch until the end of June, 5.5 million successful identifications were carried out in this application using the BankID System of the NBU.
