The Cabinet of Ministers transferred about UAH 1.7 billion to the Entrepreneurship Development Fund to compensate for interest rates on loans issued to entrepreneurs in February under the state program “Affordable loans 5-7-9%”. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.

Details
“The government sent about UAH 1.7 billion to the Entrepreneurship Development Fund to compensate for interest rates on loans issued to entrepreneurs under the state program “Affordable loans 5-7-9%” in February,” the statement says.
It is noted that, in general, since the beginning of the year, the government has transferred about UAH 3.2 billion to compensate for interest rates, since UAH 1.5 billion was allocated for these needs in January.
The ministry noted that the state budget for 2025 provides UAH 18 billion to compensate for interest rates on loans under the program. The state is gradually using these funds to cover the difference between market interest rates and the reduced rates at which entrepreneurs receive financing under the program.
