The receipt of funds became possible due to the approval of the seventh revision of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF). This step confirms Ukraine's stable fulfillment of the terms of cooperation with the Fund. Taking into account the new tranche, the total amount of support for the state budget from the IMF during the war will exceed $10 billion within the framework of this program.
Scale of funding
The $15.6 billion EFF program is a key element of Ukraine’s financial stability. The new tranche strengthens the country’s position in the face of military challenges by providing resources for critical budgetary needs.
