NovaPay explains new rules for working with cash for companies and entrepreneurs. For private clients, everything remains unchanged, they can still receive funds – both to an account and in cash, the company said in a statement.

On August 29, 2024, NBU Resolution No. 101 of August 23, 2024 came into force. It prohibits legal entities, sole proprietors and those engaged in independent professional activities from receiving cash on delivery in branches. Now, at the request of the regulator, money from clients must first be credited to the account, and then they can be withdrawn in cash if necessary.
To receive funds for your entrepreneurial or professional activities, you must:
- conclude a payment control agreement with NovaPay; receive money to an account – it can be opened in NovaPay or in any Ukrainian bank.
How to open an account
You can open a private or business account in NovaPay in the mobile application – it is fast and convenient. Funds are credited to the account in NovaPay faster than to the account in another financial institution – day after day.
Also, all cash on delivery payments from the NovaPay business account can be withdrawn or transferred without commission.
