The National Commission for Energy and Public Utilities Regulation (NKREKU) has decided to maintain the current heat tariffs for Kyiv residents. This was reported by Interfax-Ukraine.

For household consumers, heat from the Kyiv CHPP-5 and CHPP-6 of the Kyivteploenergo municipal enterprise will cost 969.89 UAH/Gcal for the period of martial law and six months after its end.
The regulator's decision was made through a resolution that amends the NEURC resolution of December 22, 2021, No. 2728. This resolution sets heat tariffs for CHPP-5 and CHPP-6, and was adopted at a meeting held on Tuesday, April 8.
After the end of the specified period, heat tariffs for household consumers of the two Kyivteploenergo thermal power plants will be automatically increased by 9.3% – to 1,059.99 UAH/Gcal.
At the same time, the commission immediately increased tariffs for thermal energy of TPP-5 and TPP-6 for other categories of consumers by 5.6%. In particular, tariffs for the needs of religious organizations will be 2075.78 UAH/Gcal, budgetary institutions – 2075.68 UAH/Gcal, other consumers – 2076.00 UAH/Gcal.
