The new draft law on mobilization contains several changes regarding the possibility of calling up officials for military service.
Previously, all officials who work in government bodies, other government bodies, local government bodies. However, now they want to change some norms.
In particular, according to the new bill, the Ministry of Defense proposes to fully reserve only civil service employees of category «A» in government bodies.
That is , there are no changes regarding employees of the Verkhovna Rada, the Cabinet of Ministers, officials of central executive authorities and their deputies.
As for employees of the two lower categories – that is, «B» and «B», then you can reserve only up to 50% of all officials liable for military service. You can book workers at local government bodies if this is necessary to ensure their functioning.
