The press service of the Cherkasy region police reported that in the city of Zhashkov, unknown persons threw a grenade into the private yard of a TCC employee at night. As a result of the explosion, the fence and gas pipe were damaged.
«The incident occurred on the night of December 24-25. The man serves in the security company and is not involved in the notification. “Preliminarily, this incident is unlikely to be related to his activities,” said Alina Krivosheya, press secretary of the Cherkasy Regional TsK.
According to law enforcement officials, an F-1 grenade exploded in the yard of a local resident. Investigators recovered debris and a safety guard, but no one was injured. The police have opened criminal proceedings under Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (hooliganism).
Currently, law enforcement officers are identifying persons who may be involved in the incident.
