Powerful explosions were heard in the Russian city of Belgorod on December 30th. As a result of the shelling of the border town, according to Russian media, 10 people were killed and another 45 local residents were injured.
Director of the Department of Information and Press of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova called yesterday's shelling of the Russian city a terrorist attack.
At the same time, she accused the UK and the USA of shelling Belgorod, because they allegedly incite Ukraine to carry out similar attacks on Russian cities.
