Dikiy reported this information on Facebook, URA-Inform reports.

Former company commander of the battalion «Aidar» Evgeny Dikiy noted that many are afraid to go to war, this is normal, but cowardice is not always incurable. He said that at first, force-mobilized draft dodgers face shock when they get to the front, but gradually change their worldview.

«In this life, priorities suddenly line up completely differently, the scale of what is important and what is unimportant changes. The fear of embarrassment in front of friends in the trench becomes existential, and motivates in moments of weakness,” he said.

Dikiy emphasized that war is a “terrible forge that forges defenders from very different people», therefore, draft dodgers who end up in war can become good soldiers and defenders, but such transformations do not happen to everyone.

&#171 ;Someone who fled from the military commissar, but failed, will still become a deserter in the army. Someone will drink himself to death, someone will commit self-inflicted gunfire or suicide. This is also part of the terrible military reality, from which we cannot escape,” the veteran explained.

At the same time, he pointed out that the first path, which turns a «forcibly mobilized coward A significantly larger number of draft dodgers are promoted to knight-defenders.

We recall that it was previously reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine proposed mobilization in a new way: the officer said that it already needs to be changed.
