In particular, the authorities of Buryatia decided to ban the concert of Kristina Orbakaite, scheduled for March of this year in Ulan-Ude.
The decision was caused by the demands of several Z-organizations that spoke out with a call to cancel the event, pointing out that the singer is a resident of «hostile Russia» country—the United States—and allegedly holds American citizenship.
The organizations also stated that Orbakaite «did not express a clear position» on military events between the Russian Federation and Ukraine.
In March, the singer is planning another concert, but in St. Petersburg. At the moment there is no information about the possible cancellation of this event. At the Oktyabrsky Concert Hall, where her concert is to take place, they say that there are no changes in the poster yet.
Kristina Orbakaite herself has not yet expressed her opinion regarding the cancellation of the concert in Buryatia. Her latest message on social networks is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of marriage.
