On January 29, 2024, the National Bank hosted a presentation of a new commemorative coin «State Security Administration of Ukraine». It has a denomination of 5 hryvnia.
On the obverse of the commemorative coin «State Security Administration of Ukraine» The emblem of the State Security Administration of Ukraine is placed on a mirror background, on a matte background — its motto: FOR THE STATE. TO THE PEOPLE. TO THE LAW.
The reverse depicts a composition symbolizing the various historical periods of the formation of Ukraine and the defense of the state by Ukrainian soldiers, whose courage remains unchanged through generations.
On the left of the composition there is a stylized trident; in the center — a mace with sabers and a shield decorated with a Cossack cross, which personifies power, military twinning and protection; right — a fragment of a camera lens, symbolizing modern technologies in organizing the process of safety and security.
You can buy a commemorative coin from February 7 in the online store of numismatic products of the NBU. A total of 20,000 coins will be on sale.
