Ukraine may soon conclude a bilateral security agreement with France.
The bilateral security agreement became the main topic of negotiations between the OP representatives and Macron’s diplomatic adviser Emmanuel Bonn, and the head of the French military headquarters Fabien Mandon , as well as advisors Xavier Chatel and Bertrand Büschwalter.
The parties discussed the finalized draft of the relevant agreement and agreed on positions on individual elements of the document.
«Our negotiating teams today demonstrated tangible progress and are closer to finalizing a bilateral agreement», — said Igor Zhovkva.
Participants in the negotiations also expressed hope for the possibility of signing an agreement in the near future.
