On Friday, February 9, President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky changed the composition of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Headquarters. Also, changes in composition took place in the National Security and Defense Council.
The corresponding decrees appeared on the website of the Ukrainian president under No. 67 and No. 68. According to the promulgated decrees, the head of state introduced the new Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Alexander Syrsky, into the Supreme Commander Headquarters.
Also, by decree No. 67, President Zelensky removed Valery Zaluzhny from the Headquarters. By another decree, the President of Ukraine appointed Alexander Syrsky to the National Security and Defense Council. At the same time, Valery Zaluzhny and former Minister of Veterans Affairs Yulia Laputina were removed from the National Security and Defense Council.
