Former Commander-in-Chief The Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny published a message on the second anniversary of the Russian Federation’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Zaluzhny reported this information on Facebook, URA-Inform reports.
On his Facebook page, he attached a photo with former Chief of the General Staff Sergei Shaptala to his message.
“Our uncompromising and courageous resistance. On February 24, 2022, hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians were not afraid of Russian missile attacks and huge columns of equipment and volunteered to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Thanks to the courage and sacrifice of Ukrainian citizens, we managed to survive. We managed to preserve ourselves and our State, — the former commander-in-chief emphasized.
Valery Zaluzhny also thanked the military who defend the state “on the battlefield”, those who help resist Russian aggression, and expressed confidence that Ukraine will win.
In just a few hours, the message collected tens of thousands of likes from Ukrainians and many comments.
< p>We recall that it was previously reported that the UN made a statement about the Russian war against Ukraine: “The time has come for a just world.”
