During participation in the summit «Ukraine — South-Eastern Europe» in Albania, President Vladimir Zelensky met with the President of North Macedonia Stevo Pendarovski.

The main issue of discussion was the initiative to form a coalition for the rehabilitation of the Ukrainian military. Zelensky introduced his colleague to the situation at the front and the current needs of Ukraine in defense matters.
He emphasized the importance of North Macedonia’s participation in the preparation and implementation of the Ukrainian peace formula, as well as preparations for the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland.
Separately, the idea of creating a hub with the participation of the Balkan countries for the rehabilitation of wounded Ukrainian military personnel and the recovery of children of fallen defenders was discussed. Zelensky expressed hope for support from friends, noting that joint efforts could lead to the creation of such an important rehabilitation coalition.
