On Friday, March 1, Ukrainian high jumper Yaroslava Maguchikh won a silver medal at the 2024 World Championships indoors, which began in Glasgow, Scotland.

The Ukrainian athlete started the competition from a height of 1.92 meters. Yaroslava tried to conquer a height of 1.99 meters, but out of three attempts she could not do it. As a result, in Glasgow, the 22-year-old Ukrainian completed the competition with a result of 1.97 meters.
At the same time, one of Maguchi’s main rivals, Australian Nicola Olislagers, achieved a height of 1.99 meters on her third attempt, which brought her victory. Lia Apostolovski from Slovenia took third place with a result of 1.95 meters.
