Ukrainian refugees in Germany report problems with entry into the European Union.
This information was reported by the telegram channel “Country Politics”, reports “URA-Inform”.
The reason lies in that from March 4 the plastic document confirming their right to reside in Germany expires.
German authorities previously extended its validity for another year, but without issuing a new “plastic”, announcing that the current document remains valid. However, Ukrainian refugees report on social networks about difficulties encountered when entering Germany and other EU countries.
Border guards began to demand evidence that refugees still have the right to stay in Germany.
One one social media user said that a friend of hers was not allowed on a plane in Munich because of an expired plastic document.
Another woman said that at Frankfurt airport she had to show proof that her residence permit was not needed extension.
«The employees here are not aware at all that our permit has been extended… They explained for a long time, fumbled for about 20 minutes, but in the end they let us through», — noted another woman.
Users also report problems at the Polish-German border, where police conduct strict passport checks and require additional documents to confirm the right to stay.
Let us remind you that in Ukraine the police have figured out how to fine drivers who have not violated anything: details.
