According to the forecasts of Valentin Badrak, director of the Center for Army, Conversion and Disarmament Studies, in May the Kremlin will be interested in places of large gatherings of people.
This information was reported by Gazeta, reports URA-Inform.
He noted that in May the Russian Federation may again resort to the tactics of massive missile strikes against crowded places on the territory of Ukraine, namely at shopping and entertainment complexes in Ukraine.
«The enemy is increasing the production of weapons, including — rockets. In particular, structures that evaluate and analyze the debris provide strong evidence that it is the remains of recently manufactured rockets. On the one hand, this indicates that Russia does not have many reserves, but on the other hand, — that they manage to produce new ones and use them en masse. This means that the enemy will increase the level of attacks aimed at all targets in Ukraine,” the expert said.
At the same time, Badrak emphasized that if previously the Russians were looking for places where defense personnel would gather, now any shopping center where a large number of people gather will definitely be attacked.
At the same time, the analyst claims that the goal of such attacks — cause maximum damage to the Ukrainian population and cause panic at the international level. This is due to the fact that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin «sees that his blackmail is succeeding because the West is now very weakened by the removal of Washington from the leadership of NATO».
«These attacks could peak in mid-May because that's when Chinese leader Xi Jinping is scheduled to meet French President Emmanuel Macron. At this meeting, I am sure of this, a proposal will be made regarding peace negotiations, and the need to leave the Putin regime in the form in which it now exists, that is, unpunished and which will not be responsible for the genocide of the Ukrainian people. And also leave behind them the amount of territory that they managed to occupy at the moment, that is, until approximately mid-May», — explained expert Valentin Badrak.
We recall that it was previously reported that Ukraine was given a sad scenario: The Economist warned that may begin in the summer.
