On Saturday, April 6, in Kyiv, a man attacked workers of the Desnyansky territorial center for recruitment and social support.
This information was reported by the press service of the Desnyansky regional TCC and SP, URA-Inform reports.
In the press service The Desnyansky District TCC and SP reported that the incident occurred on Shalom Aleichem Street while the patrol was talking to a conscript.
«At this time, Timofey Arkadyevich Molderf, born in 1972, approached from behind and struck the senior soldier Gray on the head. Then he took a knife out of his bag and wanted to stab senior soldier Chernenko with it. The attacker threatened and attacked. Keeping the attacker at a safe distance, the servicemen called the police on Bratislavskaya Street», — the message says.
Law enforcement officers immediately arrived at the scene and documented the crime, seized evidence and detained the attacker. Criminal proceedings have been opened for carrying knives without permission provided by law.
«In addition, the issue of entering information into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations on Art. 129 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — death threat… The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of arrest for a term of up to six months or restriction of freedom for a term of up to two years», — noted in the TCC.
