A new profession has officially appeared in Ukraine — “Specialist in accompanying war veterans and demobilized persons.”
This information was reported by the Government portal, URA-Inform reports.
Information about the professional standard “Specialist in support of war veterans and demobilized persons” is included in the Register of Qualifications. This new profession was developed at the initiative of the Ministry of Veterans with the aim of introducing in Ukraine professional support for war veterans, members of their families and families of fallen soldiers — on the transition from military service to civilian life.
“All the needs that arise for veterans and veterans during the transition from military service to civilian life should find professional support and assistance, which can be provided by such a support specialist. First of all, we are talking about individual professional support aimed at helping our Defenders and Defenders in receiving, in particular, rehabilitation, psychological, educational and other services», — noted the Deputy Minister of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine Maxim Kushnir.
What functions will be performed by the “Specialist in support of war veterans and demobilized persons”:
Specialist in support of war veterans and demobilized persons persons will provide explanations regarding the opportunities, rights, guarantees, benefits, receipt of public (electronic public), social, educational, rehabilitation, psychological and other services. He will deal with the issue of registration of relevant documents and the like.
