The Office of the President of Ukraine once again started talking about the telethon, or more precisely about what will happen if the telethon suddenly doesn’t happen .
Leshchenko reported this information to TG, URA-Inform reports.
In particular, the former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from «European Solidarity» and Advisor to the Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine, Sergei Leshchenko, shared his opinion on the real significance of the telethon for Ukraine today.
Speaking about this, Leshchenko noted that the telethon was created with the goal of being a source of verified information, and not fakes. As is known, one of the methods of Russia’s fight against Ukraine is to discredit reliable sources of information that provide genuine data that does not contain hype.
Leshchenko emphasized that part of the information war of the Russian Federation against the Ukrainian state is waged precisely by discrediting the telethon, since the enemy understands: if such a marathon does not take place, then media chaos will begin in the country, and in such conditions it is much easier to weaken society internally in the face of Russian aggression. This needs to be realized.
According to the ex-parliamentarian, when we hear such statements from Ukrainian politicians, we should understand that they completely coincide with the propaganda of the Russian Federation.
We recall that it was previously reported that the telethon was included in the State Department’s report on human rights violations: what is the reason.
