Ukrainian boxer Vasily Lomachenko (17-3, 11 KOs) is considering the possibility of retiring from his career. Lomachenko frankly admitted that each upcoming fight could be his last, given his long experience in the sport.
URA-Inform reports this, citing Top Rank.
“ How much longer I will continue to get into the ring depends on how my body reacts after the hard training and the fight itself,” — noted the boxer.
Recall that on May 12, Vasily Lomachenko will fight George Kambosos in Perth for the IBF lightweight title.
At the same time, WBO bantamweight champion Jason Moloney ( 27-2, 19 KOs) shared his thoughts on the upcoming fight between Lomachenko and former absolute champion George Kambosos (21-2, 10 KOs).
“I believe that both can achieve a lot. We have four potential championship fights coming up in the next month, which is really exciting. The fight between George and Lomachenko will be difficult, Vasily is a special athlete. However, time is merciless to each of us. Lomachenko has impressed in past fights, but this is not his moment. I am sure that Kambosos is working hard, and I hope that everything will work out for him.”
Recall that the Ukrainian football player was accused of racism: the scandal broke out at the championship in France.
