French President Emmanuel Macron recalled that Paris has already sent military personnel to other countries, in particular recently to Africa to fight terrorism .

At the same time, he named two conditions for sending the French military to Ukraine: a breakthrough of the Russian Federation at the front and a request from Kyiv.
«If the Russians had broken through the front line, if there had been a request from Ukraine (which is not the case today), we would legally have to ask ourselves this question. I support this because our goal is to ensure that Russia never wins», — said the French President in an interview with The Economist.
Macron noted that other Western countries should also not discard this option “a priori”, since in the summer of 2022 they ruled out sending long-range tanks missiles and aircraft, but at the moment all this is already supplied to Ukraine.
