More than two years have passed since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Taras Chmut, director of the «Come Back Alive» foundation, shared his opinion on the possible end of the war in the country. He emphasized that support from the United States in the amount of $61 billion will help Ukraine continue the fight against the Russian Federation, at least until the end of 2024.
«This will allow the country to lead and fight for sure this year», — said Taras Chmut.
According to him, it is possible that by the end of this year, 2024, the war in Ukraine will end.
«Anything can happen. We live in a world where anything is possible. After February 24, 2022, I think everyone should perceive the world as one in which anything is possible. Therefore, what if?» – said the volunteer.
At the same time, the head of the «Come Back Alive» added that receiving help from allies does not mean that volunteer work is not needed. Even if the Americans transferred not 61, but 161 billion dollars, “these are not interchangeable processes.”
«These are processes that complement each other»,” explained Taras Chmut.
He noted that volunteer the movement is more flexible and works quickly, unlike the institutions in the allied countries.
We recall that it was previously reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine started talking about negotiations with the Russian Federation: it is known when dialogue about peace will be possible.
