According to the statement of the reserve colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleg Zhdanov, the situation in the Chasov Yar area (Bakhmut direction) and in the Liman direction indicates the first signs of stabilization of the front.

Zhdanov noted the successful actions of the Ukrainian infantry in the Liman direction, emphasizing the effective command and control system and partial successes in repelling Russian attacks. He clarified that he is increasingly hearing such information from the Ukrainian military.
Regarding Chasov Yar, Zhdanov stated the following:
“It was from this area that the Russian offensive in the Donetsk direction began. However, despite the Russians’ attempts to break through to the north and the activation on the southern flank, the Ukrainian forces were able to give them a worthy rebuff.”
According to Zhdanov, in the Bakhmut operational direction we can already talk about the beginning of stabilization of the front, especially considering the resumption of counter-battery warfare and increasing the fire capabilities of Ukrainian artillery.
