According to information from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, on the night of May 10, the invaders launched an offensive near the city of Volchansk in the north of the Kharkov region, trying to break through Ukrainian defense.

The Russian Armed Forces have increased fire pressure, using armored vehicles and aircraft-guided bombs. Despite this, as of 13:00, all attacks were repelled, and Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters continue to hold their positions. Clashes of varying intensity continue. Reserves were sent to this section of the front.
According to the DeepState analytical project, collaborating with the Ministry of Defense, Russian troops tried to break through in the border areas of the Kharkov region, especially near the village of Pylnoye, where at least three units of the invaders’ armored vehicles were destroyed. The city of Volchansk and nearby villages are under intense shelling, which led to the local authorities announcing the need to evacuate the population.
