Energy Minister German Galushchenko noted that the current tariff of 4.32 UAH is calculated taking into account the cost of generating electricity from nuclear and gyroelectric power plants.
Herman Galushchenko reported this information on Facebook, reports URA-Inform.
He said that in Ukraine the electricity tariff will not be revised until May 1, 2025. That is, a subsequent price increase is possible only after the specified date.
“The price of electricity for household consumers in accordance with Resolution No. 632 is approved until 30.04.2025. That is, until the end of the autumn-winter period of 2024/2025, the tariff for electricity for household consumers will not be revised,” the Minister of Energy said.
In addition, Galushchenko also noted that the tariff of 4.32 UAH per kWh was formed taking into account the cost of electricity produced by Energoatom and Ukrhydroenergo. It is 1.7 UAH (this is only generation). In fact, Ukrainians also consume imported electricity, electricity generated by wind and solar power plants, and thermal generation.
In addition, another 0.65 UAH per kWh must be paid for transmission to “Ukrenergo”, 1.88 UAH is the distribution tariff (without profit), 0.11 UAH is the supply tariff (also without profit). In total, this is the current electricity tariff.
