The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has released an important statement aimed at eliminating confusion and misinterpretations of the legislation on mobilization.

Passing the VLK becomes mandatory only after receiving an official summons for its passage. Recently, there has been an increase in misinterpretations of the legislation on mobilization among citizens. Some citizens mistakenly believed that any update of data automatically entails the need to undergo a VLK. These misconceptions led to unnecessary worries and unnecessary actions.
Representatives of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine clearly stated: «Passing the VLK is necessary only after receiving a summons to undergo a military medical commission.» This clarification should help citizens better understand their obligations and avoid unnecessary worries.
