As it turned out, at least 6 million men in the Ukrainian state are at risk of fines due to not updating their military registration data.
This was stated by the first deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Law Enforcement Affairs Andriy Osadchuk, reports “URA-Inform” with reference to the Telegram news service of Ukraine.
MP Osadchuk emphasized that such a significant number of violators is clear evidence of the unsatisfactory organization of the process of updating the register of military personnel.
«This is not the fault of citizens, but a mistake of the system. The data update process was carried out ineptly, which led to such a large-scale violation,» — he noted.
Millions of men in Ukraine face fines for not updating military registration data. This creates significant social tension and causes outrage among the population. Many citizens claim that they were simply not properly informed about the need to update data or did not have the technical ability to do so in a timely manner.
Legal and public affairs experts point out the need for an urgent review of the data update procedure and improvements communications between government agencies and citizens. They also emphasize that massive fines can lead to a deterioration in trust in state institutions.
