Forecaster Natalya Ptukha warned of an upcoming increase in temperature and indicated the dates when the heat would again become noticeable.

She noted that after a temporary weakening, the heat will return to Ukraine, but will be less intense.
“Air flows have changed—now they come mainly from northern latitudes,” explains the expert. +14…+19 at night across the country and +24…+30 during the day—this is the forecast for the first half of the week. In the south it is traditionally warmer – up to +23 at night and up to +34 during the day.
On Thursday, July 25, the heat of +34 will again reach the east and the Dnepropetrovsk region.
“But for these regions, such indicators are quite typical for summer,” notes Ptukha.
In the west of the country, the specialist noted, on the contrary, during the same period the temperature will drop to +21… +26 degrees. Ptukha also predicted that on July 25-26, a slight decrease in temperature is expected in most areas.
“Everything will depend on the path of the atmospheric front, the passage of which is forecast for Thursday and Friday,” warns Ptukha. However, at least part of the northern and central regions will most likely get a dose of coolness. At this time there will be more clouds and it will be rainy,” she noted.
Short rains and thunderstorms are forecast in the first half of the week in the western regions, in the Zhytomyr region, then in the east and in the Sumy region. On July 24-25, precipitation is expected in Vinnytsia and Odessa regions. It will be dry in the southern regions and in the east after July 24.
“For the weekend and the beginning of next week, higher temperatures return again,” the expert warns.
According to her, there will be more sun and an average of +30.
There will be no precipitation in Kyiv on July 23-25, light intermittent rain is possible on the 26th, and on the 27th it is dry again. Ptukha clarified that in the region on July 24-25, light short-term rains are possible in the daytime.
The air temperature in the region in the near future will be +17…+19 degrees at night, +27…+29 during the day. In the capital and region on July 24-25 it will be a little fresher – within +26…+28 degrees. On July 26-27 it will become warmer again: the night temperature will reach +21, and the daytime temperature from July 27 to +32.
