From July 17, 2024, citizens liable for military service who have not updated their information in the territorial recruitment centers (TCC) or are not on the military registry may be fined, and in wartime the fine will be from 17,000 to 25,500 hryvnia.
This information was reported by the Khvilya publication, URA-Inform reports.
Irina Garbuz, lieutenant colonel of justice from the legal department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, explains: if the fine is not paid, the case can be transferred to the state executive service. In this case, the debtor's property or accounts may be seized.
Ignoring the decisions of the TCC can lead to the following consequences:
- ban on traveling abroad;
- problems with obtaining administrative services;
- difficulties in getting a job, especially in the civil service.
Vyacheslav Mironenko, business security lawyer at Juscutum , recommends not to ignore the decisions, carefully study them and, if necessary, appeal legally. The expert advises to seek legal advice and call a lawyer when receiving a summons.
It must be remembered that anyone who does not agree with the fines can go to court within 10 days after the decision on administrative liability is issued. Fines will not be issued automatically. According to Dmitry Lazutkin, press secretary of the Ministry of Defense, in order to impose a fine, protocols must be drawn up and a resolution issued.
We recall that the leadership of the Russian Federation has set a new task for the occupiers: which direction is under threat.
