Usually thick blood speaks about the risk of thrombosis. At the same time, too thin blood can cause serious health problems.
This information was reported by Radiotrek, reports “URA-Inform”.
Specialist &# 8212; a hematologist has identified a set of signs that indicate that there are few platelets in the blood and it is worth checking for thrombocytopenia – a condition in which there are too few of them in the blood.
Platelets are colorless cells that promote blood clotting, they are responsible for stopping bleeding. The doctor noted that this condition does not depend on age, thrombocytopenia can occur in both adults and children.
The problem may go unnoticed, when there are no obvious signs. The doctor recommends taking into account the following changes:
— bruises — both mild and noticeable;
— a rash like a hemorrhage into the skin of a reddish-purple hue;
— prolonged bleeding from scratches and cuts;
— bleeding from the gums or nose;
— blood in the stool;
— too much menstrual flow;
— fatigue;
-enlarged spleen.
If such serious problems are detected, it is better to consult a doctor. After all, with thrombocytopenia there is a risk of bleeding, which are difficult to stop.
Recall that earlier it was reported how to understand that there is a lack of zinc: doctors gave an answer.
