Important an innovation in the process of mobilizing military personnel in Ukraine – now the moment of serving summonses will be recorded on video.
This information was reported by the publication “Znai.UA”, reports “URA-Inform”.
People's Deputy Fedor Venislavsky reported that employees of territorial recruitment centers are already equipped with a sufficient number of body cameras to record these procedures.
The main goal of the innovation
The main goal of introducing video recording is to ensure transparency of the mobilization process and protect the rights of citizens. Video recording will help to avoid possible misunderstandings and unfounded accusations of violation of the law by military commissars. Thus, each citizen will have the opportunity to prove that his rights were observed at the time of serving the summons.
Independent video recording
According to the new rules, citizens of Ukraine also have the right to record the moment of serving a summons or checking documents on video. To do this, you can use a smartphone or any other device capable of recording video. This step provides citizens with an additional mechanism to protect their rights.
Fedor Venislavsky emphasized:
«A citizen has the right to film the process, if this is not prohibited by law». Thus, every conscript can record on video the interaction with representatives of the TCC, which adds another level of transparency and protection of rights.
Procedure for checking documents and serving summonses
TCC employees can now stop people on the street to check documents and serve summonses. If a person is subject to mobilization, he can be issued a summons directly on the spot. It is important to note that the summons form must be signed and sealed in advance, which guarantees its legality.
Recall that after the war in Ukraine, some cash will be banned: which banknotes will not be accepted for payment.
