On Wednesday, On September 18, no power outage schedules will be introduced throughout Ukraine.
This was reported by Ukrenergo, as reported by URA-Inform.
Power consumption is not planned to be limited on September 18 . However, citizens are urged to use electricity sparingly, especially during peak hours from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
The last time the shutdown schedules were introduced was on September 12. They were in effect from 13:00 to 00:00, which was caused by a decrease in generation at solar power plants due to bad weather conditions and a drop in energy production at thermal power plants.
Despite the improvement in the situation, Ukrenergo recommends that Ukrainians use electrical appliances rationally, especially during peak loads.
“It is important to avoid turning on several powerful devices at the same time so as not to overload the network,” the company emphasizes.
Unfortunately, Russian attacks on the country's energy infrastructure damaged more than 80% of generating capacity, forcing both emergency and scheduled power outages throughout the year. The summer months, despite the abnormal heat, allowed the electricity supply to stabilize somewhat, but the autumn period again threatens the resumption of restrictions.
It is also worth recalling that water supply is being cut off in Sumy: the last hours for collecting water have been named.
