Odessa was covered on September 15 heavy rainfall, which caused flooding of streets. In the conditions of the downpour, residents sought shelter on the roofs of cars to avoid water.

< p>In the morning it was announced that significant rain and heavy downpour in places were expected in Odessa. Rain was forecast for 1-3 hours in Odessa and the region, and during a thunderstorm, wind gusts could reach 15-20 m/s. Poor visibility was also predicted, no more than 200-500 meters.
It is noted that a number of streets were flooded. Sometimes people had to climb onto the roofs of their cars to escape the water.
In addition to Odessa, Central and Eastern Europe faced heavy rain and snowfalls. Austria was covered in snow, which led to the cancellation of two trains from Prague to Ukraine. Preparations for floods in Europe were announced in advance, and it was reported that Poland, the Czech Republic and Austria could receive half a year's worth of precipitation.
It is also worth noting that forecasters are predicting warm weather in most of Ukraine.
