It has become known that significant changes have taken place in the Ukrainian state in the procedure for obtaining a deferment from mobilization.
This was reported by “URA-Inform” with reference to the publication “Pro Vse”.
As reported by the press secretary of the Cherkasy regional TCC Alina Krivosheya, now citizens who care for close relatives with disabilities no longer need to submit a care certificate to receive a deferment.
According to the updated procedure for conscription of citizens for military service during a special period, a deferment can be obtained by persons whose one of the parents or parents of the spouse has a disability of group I or II. To do this, the following conditions must be met:
- absence of other persons who are not subject to military service and are required by law to care for a relative;
- except for cases when such persons are themselves disabled, require constant care, are under arrest or are serving a sentence.
Now, military personnel who are caring for a sick relative are not required to indicate in their application to the TCC information about the absence of other able-bodied family members, or to provide documents confirming the impossibility of other family members providing care. However, this does not mean that, for example, two brothers can simultaneously care for a sick mother and both receive a deferment.
Control and verification of data
When applying for a deferment, TCC servicemen are required to check:
- the citizen's presence on military registration;
- family ties and the presence of other persons who are obliged to provide care;
- the place of residence of the applicant and the person in need of care, using registers and databases.
Right to deferment
The information that if a person has never appeared at the TCC, he cannot apply for a deferment is not true. As Krivosheya emphasized, the possibility of receiving a deferment in such cases remains subject to the fulfillment of all requirements established by law.
At the same time, Zelensky has already warned that the war is nearing its end, and, according to him, peace is closer than many people think.
