It has become known that Western countries are facing the depletion of stocks of weapons and military equipment due to long-term deliveries to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This was reported by “URA-Inform” with reference to the publication The Times.
The above-mentioned issue has become acutely relevant, since continued military support has become a strategically important element in countering aggression from the Russian Federation. published materials indicating that most countries supporting Ukraine have faced serious depletion of their arsenals.
The UK Under-Secretary of State for Defence Luke Pollard stressed that Western allies have “donated most of their available resources”, which requires them to review the current strategy of military assistance to Ukraine.
He noted that the military reserves of many countries are almost exhausted, and now new methods need to be developed to ensure a stable flow of equipment and ammunition. It is important that this support is not interrupted, since stopping military supplies could significantly weaken the position of the Ukrainian armed forces.
According to sources close to the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, there is concern that the UK and a number of other European and NATO countries may be unable to continue providing Ukraine with equipment and weapons at the same level.
In addition, Hungary has offered Kyiv another path to peace, since, according to Szijjarto, arms supplies have not led to peace in the country.
