In Ukraine, to retire you need have sufficient work experience, which depends on age.

Ukrainians can retire at age 60, but for this in 2024, a minimum of 31 years of service will be required. The following rules apply to retirement at a different age:
— at 63, you must have at least 21 years of service;
&# 8212; at 65 years old – at least 15 years of service.
It is worth noting that these standards will only be relevant in 2024. In subsequent years, the requirements for retirement at 60 and 63 years will increase.
Pension without work experience
Ukrainians who have reached 65 years of age but have not accumulated the minimum work experience can count on a social pension. This payment is provided on condition that the person does not have other sources of income, such as a salary. To receive a social pension, you must contact the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU).
Currently, the social pension is calculated as the difference between the subsistence minimum for the disabled persons (2361 hryvnia) and the average family income per person over the past six months.
