Russian invaders after occupying the city of Ugledar in Donetsk Oblast, they will likely continue their offensive deep into the region.

The intelligence service recalled that on October 1, Russian troops captured the city of Ugledar at the intersection of two key fronts – Zaporizhzhya and Donetsk. The Russian Federation has been trying to capture Vuhledar for the past two years, suffering significant losses in the unsuccessful attempts. The settlement is located on a hill, which made it an advantageous position in terms of defensive actions.
