Russian the propagandist called for ending the war with Ukraine on live television.
URA-Inform reports this with reference to Denis Kazansky.
Famous radio host of Komsomolskaya Pravda Ivan Pankin surprised Russians with an unexpected statement on air, calling for an immediate end to the war against Ukraine.
His words ran counter to the official position of the Kremlin. Pankin emphasized that continuing military actions will not bring Russia positive results and could have serious consequences. This statement attracted the attention of Ukrainian journalist and blogger Denis Kazansky, who shared the video online.
“Don't say: 'We haven't started yet'! That's it, it's time to finish. Otherwise, it will definitely not lead to anything good!” the propagandist said, referring to Putin's famous phrase, uttered in the early stages of the war.
Moreover, Pankin said that he is ready to openly voice a slogan that in modern Russia can be perceived as a crime.
“I really want to write 'No to war!' But who should I write to?”, — he asked himself on air, hinting at possible prosecution for anti-war statements.
“Something probably happened…” Kazansky commented on the video.
Ivan Pankin's statements clearly demonstrate that the war affects not only ordinary Russians, but also representatives of the elite, exacerbating economic, social and political problems in Russia.
