In recent months, troops aggressor countries of the Russian Federation have significantly increased their activity on the front.
This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to the TV channel “War Infographics”.
In particular, during In August and September, Russian occupiers were able to capture a large amount of Ukrainian territory.
Thus, according to analysts, in August and September of this year, Russian troops captured 5.5 times more territory than in the whole of 2023. In August, the Russians captured 351 square kilometers, in September – 468 square kilometers.
At the same time, according to experts, the main reasons for such a rapid advance of the enemy are the shortage of weapons (Western partners are not keeping up with their promises to Ukraine's needs ) and a change in Russian tactics.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the situation on the front remains difficult and tense. The enemy , despite the significant losses inflicted on it by the Ukrainian defenders, is trying to break through the defense. The hottest areas now are Kurakhovsky, Pokrovsky and Limansky.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have begun to prepare the Dnipropetrovsk region for defense: what is already known.
