Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the training of nuclear weapons control.

In particular, the Russian dictator announced a “strategic forces training” aimed at practicing the actions of the command staff in managing the nuclear arsenal using practical launches of ballistic and cruise missiles. The statement was made on October 29 on the air of pro-Kremlin media.
“Today we are conducting another strategic forces training. We will practice the actions of officials in managing the use of nuclear weapons by practical launches of ballistic and cruise missiles. I will immediately note that Russia confirms its fundamental position that the use of nuclear weapons is an extraordinary, exceptional measure to ensure the security of the state,” he said.
Putin emphasized that the nuclear triad remains a “reliable guarantee of the sovereignty and security” of Russia:
«It helps solve the problems of strategic deterrence, as well as maintain parity and balance in the world as an objective factor in global stability. Given the growth of geopolitical tensions, the emergence of new external threats and risks, it is important to have a modern strategic force that is constantly ready for combat use,» Putin said.
At the same time, he added that the aggressor country Russia will continue to improve all components of its nuclear arsenal.
«There are resources for this. Let me emphasize that we are not going to get involved in a new arms race, but we will maintain nuclear forces at the level of necessary sufficiency… There will be launches of ballistic and cruise missiles as part of training in the use of nuclear weapons, Putin summed up.
