Amid a protracted conflict In Ukraine, increasingly alarming forecasts are emerging regarding possible changes in the country's socio-economic system.
URA-Inform reports this with reference to Zk.znaj.
In particular, the possibility of introducing labor service is being discussed, which implies serious changes in the sphere of labor, wages and social security. Major Mamaluy noted that in the conditions of significant military expenditures, the country may be forced to switch to this model, as often happens in emergency situations and large-scale conflicts.
«The war will not end tomorrow, and we must prepare for new challenges. If the military situation becomes more complicated, we may face a decision where citizens will be paid for their work not with money, but with rations,», he explained.
What might change for Ukrainians with the introduction of labor service?
Ration system
Basic products and essential goods will be provided according to established standards, which will allow the needs of the population to be covered by the state.
Gasoline coupons
Personal transport may be limited, and fuel will be issued only for priority purposes.
Minimum cash payments
Cash benefits may be retained, but their amounts may be reduced to a minimum level that covers basic needs.
“Right now the state is still supporting the economy, paying salaries, pensions, and benefits. But if labor service is introduced, most of these social guarantees will lose their relevance,” warns Mamaluy.
In his opinion, even the distribution of resources will become strictly controlled, taking into account the needs of the state.
The military man noted that although the introduction of labor service is considered an extreme measure, in the context of a prolonged conflict, such a scenario is becoming increasingly likely.
In turn, Nayem distinguished himself with a tragic forecast for Ukraine: a veteran of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that it will happen in 3 months.
