It is reported that PJSC Carlsberg Ukraine is recalling part of the product batch from circulation.
This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.
A batch of Lvivske Rozhdestvenskoe beer is being withdrawn from supermarket shelves in Ukraine ” The reason for the recall was the defects found in the glass containers.
The State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection reported that the 0.5-liter bottles had an inappropriate soldering that could make them unsafe. The problematic batch has a production date of October 3, 2024.
PJSC Carlsberg Ukraine informs partners of its decision to stop selling the said batch and withdraw it from circulation. Buyers are advised to refrain from drinking the alcoholic beverage and return it to retail outlets, or call the manufacturer's hotline at 0800 3000 80.
“Despite the fact that during control checks this defect was not found in the batch of finished products, the company considers it necessary to withdraw products in the specified packaging from sale,” the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection added.
The Company is currently taking corrective measures in accordance with Ukrainian legislation, internal procedures and safety and quality standards.
