PrivatBank has introduced special credit holidays for Ukrainian military personnel, which allow them to avoid paying interest and fines on loans.
This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to PrivatBank.
The bank noted that the support program , which was launched in 2014 for ATO participants, is now extended to all mobilized defenders of Ukraine.
< p>“PrivatBank continues to provide assistance to military personnel by offering special terms for credit holidays. Military personnel called up for service as part of mobilization, ATO participants, reservists and their family members will be able to avoid additional financial obligations for failure to comply with loan terms. From May 18, 2024, this benefit also applies to newly mobilized personnel who continue to defend the country from the aggressor,” the statement says.
In particular, credit holidays from PrivatBank provide for exemption from interest and penalties during the period of military service. However, in order to continue such benefits, military personnel must renew their documents annually. It should be remembered that the principal amount of the loan will remain payable, in accordance with the terms of the agreement. At the same time, the terms do not apply to loans issued for the purchase of housing or vehicles.
“Credit holidays can be issued both at PrivatBank branches and online. Military personnel can submit an application by personally visiting a bank branch, or upload documents in electronic format through “Online Help” on the website or in the bank’s mobile application. To do this, you must log in, enter the keyword “military serviceman” and follow further instructions in the chat”, — added at the bank.
Recall that earlier it was reported that a new wave of the UN financial aid program has started in Ukraine: who will be able to receive the funds.
