Former Ambassador of Ukraine in the USA Valeriy Chaly The elected 47th President of the United States Donald Trump seeks to provide and ensure a mandate for the American entrepreneur Elon Musk to mediate in the negotiations between Ukraine and the Russian Federation.
This was reported by “URA-Inform” with reference to Valeriy Chaly.< /p>
At the same time, he wants to remove himself from the “sensitive moments” of the relevant mediation. Chaly came to this conclusion, citing as an example the fact that Trump began to call Musk a “born star”.
He appeared in a photo with the family of the elected US president, where not a single businessman or politician was visible, and in the absence of family ties. Also, Musk, without any formal reasons, joined a telephone conversation after the elections with the president of Ukraine and listened to a conversation with the president of Turkey.
According to American media, Musk is in constant contact with the Russian leader. It is also reported that Trump has had at least seven phone conversations with the Russian war criminal, while such toxic connections are perceived mostly negatively.
Chaly believes that, given this, it suggests itself that Trump is trying to provide and ensure Musk's mandate to mediate in the negotiations between the Ukrainian leader and the Russian dictator, removing himself from such mediation.
“It also gives Elon Musk the opportunity to “recoup” the $175 million he spent on Donald Trump's campaign at the expense of Ukrainian and Russian assets (Elon Musk's interests in both are well known). All this is neither good nor bad. Just switch from traditional analysis schemes to others – and you will be closer to reality,” added the former Ukrainian ambassador to the United States.
