Military and political observer of the Information Resistance group Alexander Kovalenko explained why the Russians cancelled a massive missile strike on Ukraine on November 11.
This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to Rbc.ua.
Kovalenko explained that the sorties of Russian strategic aviation to positions without launching missiles are a standard maneuver, not associated with any hidden tactics. He noted that this is a common tactic, and on Monday, November 11, Russia thus only demonstrated its readiness for a massive attack.
The cancellation of the strike and the sudden return of the aircraft to base are not connected with the supposed dialogue between Putin and Trump, as Western media claim. Russian aviation has performed such maneuvers before, and the influence of the future US president on these plans seems unlikely. Kovalenko emphasizes that this is the usual daily work of strategic aviation.
«They perform such maneuvers all the time, the MiG-31 used to do such maneuvers all the time. The 95MS also does it often, and the 22M3, by the way, does too. Therefore, there is no need to look for any conspiracy theories here. Did they decide to abandon the missile strike because they expect something from Trump in 2.5 months? No. A demonstrative refusal to carry out a strike could happen a week before the inauguration. A week and a half before the inauguration. But not 2.5 months. November 11 was an average maneuver that they conduct in anticipation of preparations for strikes,” Kovalenko noted.
It also became known that the Russians used the new Molniya UAV during the attack on Kharkov (photo).
