It is noted that more pessimistic responses were registered in the east of Ukraine.
This was reported by “URA-Inform” with reference to IRI.
According to the results of a survey by the International Republican Institute (IRI), published on Wednesday, November 13, the overwhelming majority of Ukrainians believe in Ukraine's victory in the war against Russia – 88%.
“Ukrainians continue to believe in the success of the current military operations and are confident that they can achieve victory over Russia,” said Stephen Nix, IRI Senior Regional Director for Eurasia.
At the same time, the number of respondents who answered that they do not believe in Ukraine's victory increased from 8% in February 2024 to 10% in September. More pessimistic responses were recorded from the east of Ukraine – 11% of respondents answered that they do not believe in victory over Russia.
As for when the war will end, the opinions of Ukrainians are divided. A third believes that it will happen in one to two years. At the same time, the share of those who hope for the war to end in less than a year has grown to 31% (from 26% in February). 4% of citizens believe that the war will never end, and 9% – that this will happen no sooner than in five years.
It also became known that Ukrainians opposed the telethon: a social survey showed a powerful result.
