The Kyiv City Military Administration press service, citing the Ukrhydrometeorological Center, reported that on Wednesday, November 20, wind gusts of 15-20 m/s are expected in Kyiv and the region.

In connection with this, the first danger level, yellow, has been declared.
“On November 20, wind gusts of 15-20 m/s are expected in Kyiv and the region (first danger level, yellow),” the report says.
The Kyiv State Fire Service also gave basic recommendations that should be followed during strong winds:
— close all windows tightly, remove objects from unglazed balconies and loggias that could fall out;
— when outdoors, stay a little further away from billboards, power lines, trees, and do not park vehicles near them;
— if necessary, take shelter in the nearest building or natural shelter.
If a tree falls or branches break, you need to call the emergency dispatch service of the Kyivzelenstroy KO: 044-272-40-18. Also, when falling trees and branches threaten life, you should call rescuers at the numbers: 101 or 044-430-37-13 (KARS phone).
If people are injured, immediately call 103. If traffic lights or road signs are faulty – call: 050-387-35-42 (TsODR phone).
